Weekly Blended Worship Service
We have a blended service of contemporary music with a praise band and traditional music from our hymnal. Our choir sings a wide range of styles from classical to modern worship. We have a children's message each Sunday, so children are encouraged to remain in the service to worship with their families. Our nursery is staffed with two caring and qualified attendants, one of whom is a nurse. Our fellowship is family oriented and treats one another as we should, like brothers and sisters in Christ. We truly see ourselves as the family of God.
Contemporary Worship Service ~ "The Gathering"
The Gathering takes place the last Sunday of every month at 5:00 p.m.
• A modern worship experience with upbeat music from The Praise Band
• A brief service at a convenient time
• Personal testimonies and lots of interaction
• No previous experience required, come as you are
• Bring the kids, feel good about something you can do together
Woodside Praise Band
Woodside United Methodist Church has a praise and worship band. This band, with keyboard, guitar, bass, drums and vocalists, plays contemporary Christian music from a wide variety of sources. Their playlist draws from current top 20 to classic contemporary songs from such artists as Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Bebo Norman, and many others. The praise band plays one or two songs during the Sunday morning blended worship service, and provides the music for the end of month praise and worship service, referred to as "The Gathering."
